This lovely flame point Siamese and tabby mix was rescued from the bitter cold one day outside a storage facility in Long Island City, NY on February 1, 2011. Once captured, Anna did not try once to bite or scratch, not even when she was given a bath to remove street grease, dirt and grime. We found that Anna was previously spayed, evidenced by the left ear cropping. She was tested negative for FeLV & FIV on February 3, 2011. Our vet, Dr. Patrick Cotter, puts her age at approximately 2 -3 years. Anna is fully vaccinated. Anna is currently fostered in Manhattan's East Side. She uses the litter box with no problem and has a healthy appetite. She is shy and requires a caregiver who will be patient with her. She will not come up to a person yet and will squirm and struggle to get down if picked up. Anna will not be adopted to a home with a dog or children.
