Sweet gorgeous amstaff Chamberlain in danger@NYC kill sheltr-abandoned in Manhattan, New York

A volunteer writes: A big lap dog, a cuddle monster, a tail wagging kissy boy, that?s our Chamberlain. Found tied up by the police after two days, when the police brought him in he gave kisses to all the intake staff, climbed into any lap that would take him, was super friendly allowing all handling during the intake procedure, and all staff agreed on how sweet he is. I am adding my voice to that. He?s a DOLL! His coat is a gorgeous cocoa color, his eyes a soft amber, his tail never stops wagging, and as soon as I sat down to take some notes he was in my lap. His tail was wagging hard against my back, and we were two happy campers huddling together against a sudden rainfall. He purrs with pleasure, so content in my lap. Good on the leash, responsive to his handler, Chamberlain has handled his ?hold? well and is now looking for his happily ever after. Back at the shelter I toweled him off as he stood quietly, tail wagging as I took care of him. Rocking his behavior assessment indicating he?ll be a good fit in just about any home, he?s hoping that home is waiting for him today.
Another volunteer writes: This is one of the Happiest dogs I have ever walked at the shelter. Immediately snuggled up to me for some chin scratches while waiting for the elevator. On our walk he wagged his tail up, happy the whole time, looking up to everyone we passed as if to say ?Hello Neighbor.? He is just a happy boy, play bowing to some strangers dogs while walking by. So Cute. A real sweet boy.

I am a male chocolate and white am pit bull ter and american staff mix. The shelter thinks I am about 2 YEARS old.
I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 03/19/2015 from NY 10467, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.
