A volunteer writes:
Little Brady is a gentle ElderBeagle who was found as a stray. She looks so peaceful in her arrival kennel, a contrast with her intense and attention seeking brown eyes inlaid in a noble white face. She is leashed without fuss and walks nicely by my side, climbing stairs without problem. A slight limp can be seen occasionally. Brady eliminates as soon as we reach the yard. Her den is spotless. She nears other dogs, big or small in a peaceful way. Brady is a sweet dog who likes to be caressed and sits quietly by my side, like she was my own dog. She is not interested in my treats. She is well groomed, her weight is good . A growth can be felt on her underbelly, may be the reason why she was let go by her former owners..Brady is at the Manhattan Care Center, a well deserving and sweet elderly female who just needs a new master to love and a comfy pillow to rest. True, she will need medical care but she is all so worth it. Will you be Brady's hero?
