Chuppi lived in his previous home for nine years with three children under thirteen and other dogs, with whom he shares his kennel. His previous owner states that he is very friendly, and that he gets along with children and strangers. Chuppi walks calmly on leash and his previous owners report that he is house trained. Chuppi walked nice on leash and may be house trained, toileting immediately once outside. He was tense and trembled during the evaluation but tried to stay close and was tolerable of being handled by the assessor, not shying away. Chuppi appeared too nervous to take the food, toys or rawhide so food guarding and possession aggression was inconclusive but he approached helper dog with friendly body language

This dog is located at the Manhattan Animal Care&Control (326 E110 St, Manhattan 10029). For more information on a particular dog, email adoption @ nycacc.org (remove the spaces) but ONLY email if you are serious about adopting, and ONLY if you are able to GO TO the shelter in-person. This dog is in danger of being on the euthanasia list and could be scheduled to be killed at any time!
