Ten year old Scout came to us with young Sadie as their family lost their home. He is a most unusual large Daschund with an Arlequin coat and lively eyes. Scout, unlike Sadie, is not shy or scared. He is an outgoing little man who likes his walks and company. He is always ready at his door, no barking involved. Scout trots beautifully on the leash and eliminates as soon as we enter the yard. He meets other little dogs in a very courteous way. He does not mind the big ones. He seems a little independent but it could just be that he feels lost as a small family dog in a big shelter?.Scout comes when called, sits on command and loves my treats. He can be petted all over and carried. He is a sweet older guy who just needs to go home or find a new family to welcome him. Scout is at the Manhattan Care Center, one of a kind Daschund, ready , willing and able to go on many more years with his life.
