Like the story of the god Zeus from Greek mythology, it's hard to know what part of this fellow's background is true and what is myth. His previous owner states he is 12...yet he has no signs of gray hair or aging. Also stated is that Zeus suddenly (after 12 yrs?) became aggressive and bit someone...dogs do not suddenly become aggressive at that age-- provoked to act in defense is more likely the case-- if he in fact bit anyone at all...some people will say anything to dump a dog they no longer want...whatever the case, this regal fellow, worthy of his name, now sits at a high kill shelter awaiting his fate. Unlike the Zeus of legend, our Zeus cannot change his fate...but we can...give this guy a chance, save a life, contact a rescue group and let him live out his years, however many he may have, in the comfort of a loving home. No one named Zeus should die in a cage because of some made up story.
