A volunteer writes: Sasha was surrendered by her family due to NYC housing issues. She lived with 3 adults and 5 children ages 5-19 years old. When Sasha and I were in the park she perked up at the sight of school children coming in groups through the park and now I understand why. Sasha has a gorgeous coat - mostly black with hints of brindle coloring scattered throughout. Her coat is shiny, gleaming with apparent good health. She was well taken care of as her weight is good and her coat well groomed. Sasha is quiet and shy in her kennel, not sure of why her life has changed. She trembles in her kennel, a bit frightened of all the dogs barking and constant activity. We are told that Sasha is housetrained, and indeed she demonstrated her skill by going as soon as we were out of the building. Her leash manners are lovely and we are told she knows 'sit'. She has lived with dogs and is friendly to dogs she meets as well as all people. Sasha is a family girl without a family at the moment. She is looking for a new family to love and we hope that she finds one quickly. She is too good to pass up; ask to meet her today.
