Midnight is as dark as night with a little white cloud on the chest and one around the mouth. She is indeed an older gal still very perky who was adopted many years ago from ACC and relinquished back as her owner can not care for a pet anymore. Midnight is tiny and as cute as a button. I love her wiry hair, so well groomed and her sharp hazel eyes. She trots beautifully, eliminates on the way and meets in a cool way with big or little dogs on the way. As i sit on a bench, Midnight hops without effort next to me than onto my lap for a cuddling session. Midnight is well behaved and friendly although quite unsure of what is happening to her after so many years in a home. Midnight is a lovely little girl, healthy looking, well nourished and a family dog. She will make an owner very happy to have her as a companion. Midnight is at the Manhattan Care Center. Come to meet her and take her home.

For more information on a particular dog, email adoption @ nycacc.org (remove the spaces) but ONLY email if you are serious about adopting, and ONLY if you are able to GO TO the shelter in-person. Please do not email for status updates... the only thing you will accomplish is spamming their in boxes and causing REAL adopter emails to go un-noticed. Contact the NYC ACC at (212) 788-4000 for further automated instructions. Also, have the ID# listed at the top of this post handy when inquiring!! This dog is in danger of being on the euthanasia list and could be scheduled to be killed at any time! If you absolutely cannot get to the shelter, please contact participating rescue groups listed toward the bottom of the link to see if they can assist you:
