A volunteer writes:
Larry is a noble senior laying peacefully in his crate despite all the activity going on around him. Indeed, Larry is confined to a smaller space and wears a cone to prevent him to bother the large and open mass he has on his thigh. Staff speak a lot of good words about Larry and encouraged me to spend some quality time with him and take him for a short walk. Larry is a beautiful elderly gentleman who wears a very silky coat to touch and owns the most sweet brown eyes that give him a very soft gaze. Larry walks well on the leash and voids a river as soon as we leave the care center. He is so housetrained and we make sure that he gets his much needed relief walks daily. Larry seems to like other dogs. He loves to be caressed and talked to and squeezes tightly his body against mine. He is quite a nice company and a quiet break in a busy day. Larry was found as a stray most likely as a result of his age and his medical condition. Although eleven years old, Larry still looks quite well and would be so thankful to spend the rest of his life, loved, safe and cared for while bestowing upon his new owner the wonderful gift of giving. Will you be Larry's hero? He truly needs you..
