One might say that Sarita's most striking feature are her cherry eyes. I disagree... Sarita's excellent behavior and obedience are what attracted me to her beside of course, her natural and overpowering beauty. Sarita has the most perfect coat I have ever seen. It is silky, shiny and pure chocolate in color. Her eyes are yellow green and she has the most delicious nose. Sarita walks beautifully on the leash, she sits immediately on command. She poses for the pictures dutifully. She wants so much to please her caretaker. She has been very well brought up by her former owner. Sarita is not only gorgeous and poised . She is an affectionate female who initially might show shyness or reservation in her feelings. Not for long... When she understands that she is being appreciated, Sarita comes on the lap for kisses and caresses. She is a most lovely girl. I fell in love with Sarita the moment I saw her. Spending time with her did not change my feelings, on the contrary. Sarita would make a wonderful companion to the master or family willing to give her a chance . Her eyes will have to be taken care of. Sarita is at the Manhattan Care Center.

Please do not email for status updates... the only thing you will accomplish is spamming their in boxes and causing REAL adopter emails to go un-noticed. Contact the NYC ACC at (212) 788-4000 for further automated instructions. Also, have the ID# listed at the top of this post handy when inquiring!! This dog is in danger of being on the euthanasia list and could be scheduled to be killed at any time! If you absolutely cannot get to the shelter, please contact participating rescue groups listed toward the bottom of the link to see if they can assist you:
