A volunteer writes: Hello Brindlicious!!! Yes, I made up that word to describe this compact little brindle boy with the lively eyes and helicopter tail. Tyson has a constantly wagging tail, and if we could harness that energy you could power your cell phone for a week! He's an energetic little guy who has never met anyone (two legged or four legged) that he doesn't want to play with. Tyson was surrendered by his family as they are moving. We're told that he lived with 3 adults, two children (age 5 years and 7 mos), is housetrained (a skill he demonstrated as we hit the street), paper trained, crate trained, has lived with dogs and is playful, knows sit and stay, chases small animals and is "sweet, loving and overly playful". Tyson is a young pup who needs to be taught how to be a rockstar grownup; he pulls hard on the leash and is enthusiastic when he sees other dogs on the street - he wants to play! Everything that Tyson does he does with enthusiasm - and that includes loving you!!! If you are ready to invite a youngster into your home and provide the positive training this fabulous little guy needs, please come meet Tyson today. Soon the word 'brindlicious" will be part of your vocabulary!!

I am a male br brindle and white pit bull mix. The shelter thinks I am about 11 MONTHS old. Weight 65lb
I came in the shelter as a OWNER SUR on 06/22/2013 from NY 10039, owner surrender reason stated was MOVE2PRIVA.
This dog is located at the Manhattan Animal Care&Control (326 E110 St, Manhattan 10029). For more information on a particular dog, email adoption @ nycacc.org (remove the spaces) but ONLY email if you are serious about adopting, and ONLY if you are able to GO TO the shelter in-person. Please do not email for status updates... the only thing you will accomplish is spamming their in boxes and causing REAL adopter emails to go un-noticed. Contact the NYC ACC at (212) 788-4000 for further automated instructions. Also, have the ID# listed at the top of this post handy when inquiring!! This dog is in danger of being on the euthanasia list and could be scheduled to be killed at any time! If you absolutely cannot get to the shelter, please contact participating rescue groups listed toward the bottom of the link to see if they can assist you:
