Hollie lays quietly on her blankie. What else is she to do ? Her owner died and she has no place to go. This is why she is with us, patiently waiting for her life to take a better turn. Hollie was brought in by a neighbor who knew her well. She lived with a senior who most likely loved her very much but overlooked her health, overfed her and most likely was too weak to take her out for walks. Hollie might be eleven year old but she is still beautiful. Her coat is thick, cream and chocolate, her eyes are barely cloudy, she is quite overweight and an ulcerated mass can be seen on her chest. She walks slowly, panting at times and needs to stop often to rest and even lay down. She climbs stairs with difficulties. Ten pounds less would make , i think a huge difference. Hollie is obviously a very gentle elderly girl who likes to be in company, enjoy to be brushed and relishes caresses . She is clearly in need of veterinary care, a healthier lifestyle and a new owner who will appreciate her beauty, her sweet nature and make of Hollie a friend for few more years to come. Such a wonderful dog deserves to spend her golden years safe, respected and loved. You are the one with the magic wand?You can open the doors to a renewed happiness. Hollie's fate is in your hands.
