Beautiful gentle amstaff Hera in danger@NYC kill shelter in Manhattan, New York

Type: Pets, For Sale

A volunteer writes: Talk about smoldering eyes and a natural beauty -- Hera is stunning! In Greek mythology Hera is the wife of Zeus and the Goddess of women, and she is certainly deserving of this lofty name. Hera's coat is sleek and well groomed, her eyes soulful, loving and intelligent and match the tan in her coat. She's low key and gentle, making soft eye contact as she perfectly poses for pictures, quietly explores our pen, and softly greets a dog in an adjoining one. As I sat to take some notes, Hera jumped up on the bench to join me, leaning in for snuggles, closing her eyes as she gave herself up to the petting. When I stopped petting her she nuzzled my hand for more! Likely housetrained and with nice leash manners (she pulls slightly from time to time), Hera has clearly been a well taken care of little girl before joining us. Looking for her happily ever after, she's hoping you'll ask to meet her today. Another volunteer writes: Hera is shy and sweet. She is well behaved and enjoys being pet and shown affection. She has beautiful eyes and coloring. She would make most any family happy and fit in well, but would do better in a home without young children. She is such a good girl and just wants a family to love her!
