A volunteer writes: I said "good girl" so many times when I was with Scarlett that I began to sound like a broken record! She's such a sweetheart, and so anxious to please, and so well mannered and lovely, I wonder if she began to think 'good girl' was her new name! Anxious to go for a walk, she let me put a raincoat on her and went potty as soon as we were out the door. Good Girl! Her coat is a pretty soft brown, her eyes a luminous amber with which she makes soft eye contact when she poses for photos. She looks like she may have had a litter recently, and has an adorable way about her when I'm not fast enough with her treats. She takes them hungrily but gently, and goes into the play position to me if I don't get them out fast enough! Too cute! She sits when I ask her to, and stays (with her tail wagging), as she now knows a treat is next. Good girl! Off leash in the back yard she loves chasing a tennis ball, pounces on it but doesn't retrieve. With a head tilt as I make kissy noises at her she watches me take more pictures and is the perfect model. Good girl! Scarlett seems a little anxious around other dogs and may need to learn better 'how do you do' manners. She has a great personality, appropriately energetic and loving and is looking for a new home and people to love. Come meet her and you'll want to change her name to "Good Girl"....you'll see!
