SOLID BRASS JARDINERE from THE ANSONIA BUILDING, NY. on the Upper West Side, 2109 Broadway, Between 73rd & 74th. Streets.
This lovely Jardinere was patented Dec. 16th., 1851, Extended, Dec. 16th., 1865, and Re-issued Feb. 13th., 1866.
On the bottom, it is partially stamped "THE ANSONIA, Patent Dec. 16th., 1851, Extended, Dec. 16th., 1865, and Re-issued Feb. 13th., 1866."

This SOLID BRASS Jardinere is over 161 YEARS OLD. It is approx. 22 cms. high, 30 cms. in Diameter, and weighs 1870 grams. There are 2 Lions Heads with large rings on the sides, and there are 3 clawed feet supporting this magnificent piece.
