3D mixed media Artist?s Book by French-Canadian multidisciplinary artist Christiane Baillargeon. A graduate of Parson School of Art and Design, Christiane explores and combines the fields of installation, sculpture, drawing and painting. The recipient of several awards, she has taken part in numerous solo and group exhibitions in New York, Canada and Europe. This piece of art is one of a series of art books she created in the 1980s. Books were placed in the ocean for up to 24 hours and then sculpted, painted and with verse/words written on the pages.
