American Shorthair - Lydia - Medium - Young - Female - Cat
Hi- my name is Lydia and I was just rescued from a NYC kill-shelter that I've actually been to before. You see, when I was 3 months old someone brought be there as a stray...and then I got adopted. However my family dumped me back at the shelter now that I'm 2 years old.... I guess because they think I'm not as cute now. Well, my foster mom thinks I'm VERY cute and so here I am again looking for a fur-ever home. She says I'm a girly-girl because I make squeal-like sounds. Don't all cats do this?! I purr once in a while too, but whatever. I loooove getting my ears rubbed and petted and sometimes I express my fondness with little nips. Its not a big deal, but my foster mom thinks I'm best in a home without young children as they (big babies) may misinterpret my communication. I'm a little independent, curious and like to climb...its my favorite thing to do. I keep myself very clean and have perfected the litter box. I have a microchip, all my shots and am spayed too. I'm a little shy at first but that's because I've had a couple of rough years.... but please give me a chance and you will love me. I'm good with other cats and dogs too... I have both as roommates.
