Domestic Short Hair - Orange and white - Cashmere - Medium
Cashmere is extremely affectionate, and loves to give headbutts and make ?happy feet'. She will raise up on her hind legs to push her head into your hand for pets and she loves to 'snuzzle' (snuggle while sleeping...zzzzzz). Cashmere enjoys being brushed and will sit calmly while you hold her to trim her nails. She uses the litter box perfectly, gets along well with other cats and will make a wonderful pet for a very lucky family. Cashmere was found wandering around a building lobby across from a Brooklyn rail yard and brought to Animal Control. She was extremely thin and pregnant. She gave birth to a boy kitten, Corduroy, in her cold cage at the shelter on the fourth of July. An Anjellicle staff member saw her desperate intake photo and saved her and her new baby on the morning they were scheduled to be euthanized. Cashmere had unfortunately caught a horrible cold during her stay and needed to be hospitalized upon release. Sadly, little Corduroy did not make it. This beautiful golden-eyed buff beauty has now made a full recovery and is interviewing for the purrfect forever home. Cashmere is currently in foster care on the Upper East Side and she would love for you to come meet her! Cashmere was born around 7/9/11
